Champion of Culture
The Loken Group’s Champion of Culture for December is Marya Sokha!
Always going above and beyond what she is expected to do, Marya has always been an integral part of the TLG family and instrumental to our success!
“I work with a great group of people that have awarded me for performing my job to the best of my ability.”
Thank you for all you do for us!
Angel Tree 2019
This year, TLG Gives’ Angel Tree project was able to raise over $10,000 and helped brighten the holiday season for 6 families in need! Coming to us through team members, nearby churches, and a local counseling center, each of these families were dealing with unique situations – including childhood illness, domestic violence, unemployment due to disability, and tragic accidents. TLG Gives committee members then delicately crafted shopping lists for each of the families, then purchased and delivered over 100 items to these families – including gifts, meals, and other necessities!
“Angel Tree is my absolute favorite part of the holidays,” said Sydney Kempler, TLG Gives Coordinator. “I feel so fortunate to meet these families and see all their smiling faces when delivering gifts and meals.”
TLG Year End Community Impact Summary
2019 was a huge year for TLG Gives. After raising over $30,000, we were able to help reunite the Menchaca family through the Home Transformation project and bring holiday cheer to 6 other families through the Angel Tree project!
On top of the work that we do through TLG Gives, The Loken Group also donated $3,500 to causes that matter most to our team members, which include:
Wounded Warrior Project
St Jude Children’s Hospital
