Spring

Belly of the Beast

“This great local restaurant in Old Town Spring was new at the beginning of the COVID-19 shutdown and survived by introducing to-go dinner packs (and just making really delicious Mexican food). Don’t let the unassuming exterior fool you, the chef is imaginative, and the tacos are to die for. I recommend grabbing take out (trust me- order the Birria Taco) and enjoying with a pint at the outdoor beer garden at Excalibur Brewing next door!”

Houston, TX 77070
(281) 251-8930
Other locations: Greenway Plaza

Recommended by: Sydney Kempler, Digital Marketing Specialist
“This Vintage Park restaurant’s outdoor seating has relaxing vibes complete with fountain views. They always make a great cocktail and have an excellent wine list! We usually start with their beef tenderloin carpaccio or the mushroom risotto croquettes. My boyfriend is obsessed with their rainbow trout dish so he always gets that, and I almost always go for one of their pastas like the lamb shoulder ravioli or a gnocchi dish. Also, their bread is incredible and may be the main reason we keep going back. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel very safe while dining. Definitely make a reservation so you can get an outdoor table! They are also a GREAT takeout option and handle your order with care!”
