Cooler weather has arrived, and you know what that means! Fall pumpkin patch time. The Houston area has LOTS of pumpkin patches, so we’ve put together a list of the big ones for you.
It’s a South Texas family tradition to visit Dewberry Farm each fall for 8 acres of pumpkin picking. Explore the 8-acre Corn Maze, enjoy a Pumpkin Patch Wagon Ride, play lots of family-friendly games, and view more than 500 lighted carved pumpkins in Punkin Hollar. New attractions added every year! For over 20 years, the Oil Ranch Pumpkin Patch and Scarecrow Festival has been a family tradition. Enjoy fun fall festivities: hay ride, scarecrow scene tour, and see thousands of pumpkins! Get a free pumpkin with every child admission. Admission $15.95/person (24 months and up).

Old Time Christmas Tree Farm
Bring the family out on a weekend in October and enjoy the (Texas) fall weather! Enjoy train rides, hay rides, a giant slide, obstacle course, bounce house, and jump pad. Old Time offers Jack-O-Lantern Pumpkins, Specialty Pumpkins, Pie Pumpkins, Mini Pumpkins, Gourds, Indian Corn, Carving Accessories, and free little red wagons for carrying your pumpkins (while they last!). 2014 Winner of Macaroni Kid Gold Daisy Award for “Best Fall Festival in SW Houston/Fort Bend County!” Pick out the perfect pumpkin, while enjoying themed festival games for children of all ages (including obstacle course bounce house, pumpkin patch photo station, horse-drawn wagon ride) in a carnival atmosphere.
